Super Bruce, Zep Reunion Rumors don't go away, Streaming Dylan

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have signed on to perform during the half time slot at the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida on February 1st, 2009, according to Reuters. This year's Super Bowl half time show with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers was watched by nearly 150 million people.

Over the past decade, the Super Bowl half time show has featured Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, and U2. Springsteen has been on the NFL's shortlist for decades, but this marks the first time that he has ever agreed to perform in connection to any organized sporting event. So far, the half time appearance is "The Boss'" only scheduled show of 2009 so far.

Robert Plant has reportedly agreed to reunite with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and Jason Bonham for a Led Zeppelin tour which may kick off as early as May. Page, Jones, and Bonham, have been rehearsing with a series of other vocalists -- which reportedly include Myles R. Kennedy from Alter Bridge -- in a move which many saw as a message to Plant that the band would hit the road with or without him.

An "inside source" told The Sun: "They were over the moon when he gave them the news. They are now forging ahead with tour plans and can't wait to get on the road... When Robert realized the band were serious about doing it without him, it made him think long and hard... (They) had all but given up on Robert joining them, but they were determined to go ahead (and) started to seriously explore other avenues."

Following the band's one-off reunion show on December 10th at London's O2 Arena, Plant had been the lone hold out for an extended Zeppelin tour, but according to reports, he's put off plans to enter the studio with current partner Alison Krauss in order to rehearse and plan the tour.
